The students of Class I-F presented a colourful and meaningful assembly on the theme "Our Handloom, Our Pride" to celebrate National Handloom Day. The programme beautifully showcased
India's rich handloom heritage and paid tribute to the hardworking weavers of our country.
The assembly began with a powerful opening presentation, followed by a creative "Magic Loom" activity and vibrant performances representing the diverse handloom traditions of India, including Khadi, Bandhani, Kanjivaram Silk, Pashmina, Muga Silk, Leheriya, Chanderi, and Tant Saree. Students confidently delivered dialogues, regional greetings, and cultural messages with great enthusiasm, reflecting the unity in India's diversity.
A melodious handloom-themed song added a special charm to the programme. Through its meaningful lyrics, the students expressed pride in India's weaving traditions and encouraged everyone to value and support handmade products, making the presentation even more engaging and heartfelt.
A unique act highlighting the harmonious connection between technology and tradition, along with an emotional tribute to the weavers, left a lasting impression on the audience.
The assembly concluded with a grand finale, spreading the inspiring message: "Support Handloom.”
