PSD- FOOD OF HOPE AND MEALS OF JOY

Celebrating World Food Day, the young Agarsainians of Pre-School-D presented a morning assembly on the theme “Food of Hope and Meals of Joy", highlighting the importance of healthy eating, sharing food, and preventing food wastage.

The assembly began with a warm welcome, followed by an engaging skit highlighting the importance of choosing healthy food over junk food. This was followed by a colourful Healthy Food Parade, where children introduced different fruits, vegetables and milk and shared their benefits. The dance “The Farmer Plants the Seeds” depicted the journey of food from farm to plate. The children then recited the song “Food for You, Food for Me", conveying the message of sharing food and avoiding wastage.

The assembly concluded with the message “Save Food, Eat Healthy and Share with Others,” encouraging everyone to value food and appreciate the hard work of farmers. The presentation was an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience for all.
