Class V-D presented an engaging and meaningful morning assembly on the theme “Understanding Emotions and Their expression” in celebration of World Emoji Day. The assembly aimed to help students recognize, understand, and express their emotions in a healthy and positive manner while promoting empathy, kindness, and effective communication.

The assembly commenced with warm greetings, creating a cheerful atmosphere for the day. The News segment kept everyone informed about current events, while the Thought of the Day and Panchang encouraged positive thinking and cultural awareness.

The highlight of the assembly was a captivating skit that showcased different emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and excitement, emphasizing the importance of expressing feelings respectfully and understanding the emotions of others. Students also shared interesting facts about World Emoji Day and explained how emojis can help convey emotions in digital communication when used thoughtfully. A lively performance featuring colourful emoji placards and expressive role-play beautifully reinforced the message of emotional awareness and empathy.

The class teacher, addressed the students, interacted with them on the theme, and emphasized the importance of recognizing and expressing emotions appropriately while being kind and considerate towards others.
