The students of Class VI F conducted a thought-provoking special assembly on the theme “The Role of the Brain in Learning and Growing” under the guidance of their Class Teacher, Ms. Ritika Sharma.
The assembly highlighted the importance of nurturing a healthy brain through balanced nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep, reading habits and mindful use of screens. An engaging skit, an inspiring ramp walk and a vibrant dance and song presentation effectively conveyed the message that a healthy mind is essential for learning, growth and overall well-being.
As a meaningful takeaway, the students introduced the “Gratitude and Growth” initiative, encouraging everyone to spend a few screen-free minutes each day writing a positive affirmation and a note of gratitude. Gratitude and Growth Diaries were also presented to the class teachers to encourage the practice of mindful journaling.
The assembly concluded with an inspiring message to cultivate healthy habits, think positively, practise gratitude and embrace lifelong learning. The programme successfully encouraged students to value the power of a healthy mind and work towards a happier, healthier and more mindful future.
