Class XI-E conducted a meaningful and engaging morning assembly on the theme “Literacy as a Tool for Empowerment.” The assembly highlighted how literacy goes beyond the ability to read and write—it enables individuals to think independently, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and participate confidently in society.The assembly commenced with prayers, followed by the School Song and National Anthem, creating an atmosphere of discipline, unity and positivity.The Thought for the Day emphasised the transformative power of education and knowledge. This was followed by the presentation of the Hindi Tithi and National and Sports News, keeping the students informed about important happenings around them.
Khwaish presented an acrostic poem based on the theme of literacy, creatively conveying how knowledge can inspire confidence, freedom and self-reliance.
The cultural segment was presented by Chahek, Krisha and Yashna, who performed a dance highlighting the importance of education and empowerment. The performance was followed by the pledge.
Tarini and group presented a melodious group song, adding a positive and inspiring dimension to the assembly.
A quiz conducted by Shreya engaged the students and tested their awareness and understanding of literacy, education and empowerment.
The Class Teacher’s Message reinforced the importance of becoming lifelong learners and using literacy as a means to make responsible choices and contribute positively to-the society.
