Objectives: The session introduced educators to the significance of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in nurturing emotionally intelligent, resilient, and responsible learners. The resource persons explained the five core competencies of SEL—self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making—and demonstrated how these competencies can be seamlessly integrated into everyday classroom practices.

A Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme on the theme "Social Emotional Learning (SEL)" was conducted on 4 July 2026 (Saturday) at Maharaja Agarsain Public School, Ashok Vihar, under the aegis of the Centre of Excellence – Delhi West. The workshop aimed to equip educators with effective strategies to foster students' social, emotional, and interpersonal competencies while creating inclusive, empathetic, and supportive classroom environments. The programme emphasized the importance of integrating Social Emotional Learning into everyday teaching practices to promote students' holistic development and well-being.
