During this engaging one-hour pottery workshop, our pre-primary students eagerly dove into the world of clay work. They began by rolling and pinching air-dry clay to form the basic shapes of small traditional diyas. Once their pieces took shape, the children transitioned to the painting station, where each pattern reflected their individual creativity. Throughout the process, educators guided them in using tools safely, mixing hues, and experimenting with brush techniques, ensuring that every child felt confident and inspired as they brought their handcrafted diyas to life.
