Pre-primary teachers attended a workshop on Understanding Autism conducted by Ms. Ishita Khetan, Ms. Areeba Khan, and Mr. Ritik Sharma. The session began with an explanation of the 5 D’s of psychological disorders, helping teachers identify when a child may need professional attention. The speakers defined Autism Spectrum Disorder and discussed common difficulty areas among children on the spectrum. They highlighted red flags across developmental domains, enabling teachers to recognize early signs. The workshop concluded with practical classroom strategies to support and manage children with autism, promoting inclusive and effective learning experiences.
